Thank you everyone who signed up for or expressed interest in the workshop! For those of you who were unable to join me this time around, I will be offering the class again in May or June of 2018!

6:30-7:30 Tuesdays March 6 - April 24, 2018

The Black Box Arts Center

113 S Princess St, Shepherdstown, WV 25443

In this 8 week photography course, participants will be shown the functions of the camera to establish an understanding of the photographic process. This will aid in taking control of their image making.

The class will begin by covering the components of exposure, perspective, composition, and focus. Different cameras, lenses, and post-processing/file management will be discussed towards the end of the course.

Emphasis will be placed on both peer and instructor feedback, as well as class discussion. The instructor will be available to provide constructive feedback for the duration of the workshop.

The course will conclude with an exhibition at The Black Box Arts Center showcasing participants’ work from the course.

The course is targeted towards those interested in understanding photography to take control of and improve their approach towards taking photographs.

Recommended for ages 16 and up. A digital SLR or mirrorless camera capable of manual controls is required. Contact me here with any questions or concerns!

Cost: $220
